Which cover do I need?

Six questions about the car and your situation. At the end you get the three kinds of cover laid out, which ones answer the worry you named, and a short list of things to ask each insurer. It is general information about kinds of cover, not a recommendation about a policy for you.

Question 1 of 6

Roughly what is your car worth today?

Why we ask. The three kinds of cover differ mainly in whether they pay anything at all for your own car. What your car is worth decides how much that difference is worth to you.

No name, no email, no registration. Nothing is stored: your answers travel in the address bar of the result page and nowhere else. How we handle data.

What it does not ask

Your name, your email, your registration, your address, your date of birth or your licence. There is no step at the end where this becomes a quote form, because we do not quote and we pass nothing to anyone.

You can read the rules first

Every rule this tool can apply is published, in full, on the methodology page — along with the question wording and every option. Nothing about the result is a judgement about you.
